Wellness Classes 8am – 6pm | £28 per class

Reconnect body and mind through our wellness classes in Fitzrovia, designed to support movement, recovery, and everyday balance in the heart of Central London. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or completely new to wellness practices, our yoga, Pilates, and sound bath sessions are thoughtfully designed for all experience levels.

Our yoga classes focus on flexibility, strength, breathwork, and mindfulness, helping to reduce stress while improving mobility and overall wellbeing. Pilates sessions support core strength, posture, stability, and alignment through controlled, low-impact movement. For deeper restoration, our immersive sound bath experiences use therapeutic frequencies and vibrations to calm the nervous system, encourage relaxation, and promote emotional clarity.

Led by experienced instructors within our dedicated Wellness Studio, each session offers a calm and restorative space to reset both physically and mentally – moments from Soho, Marylebone, and Oxford Circus.

Dynamic Pilates Élan Wellbeing

A dynamic Pilates class by Élan Wellbeing, designed to build strength, stamina, coordination, and control through intelligent movement and seamless sequencing. Rooted in classical Pilates principles, this energising session combines precision with a faster pace to challenge the body while improving posture, mobility, and core stability.

Mobility Pilates Élan Wellbeing

A gentle and restorative Pilates class by Élan Wellbeing, focused on flexibility, recovery, mobility, and long-term strength. With a slower pace and emphasis on breathwork and mindful movement, this session is ideal for beginners or anyone looking to release tension, improve alignment, and move with greater ease.

 

Pilates & Props Élan Wellbeing

A creative and challenging Pilates class by Élan Wellbeing, using props including light weights, resistance balls and magic circles to enhance strength, coordination and body awareness. Designed to add variety while remaining grounded in classical Pilates principles, this dynamic session supports both progression and adaptability.

Classical Pilates Élan Wellbeing

An authentic classical Pilates class by Élan Wellbeing, focused on precision, alignment, control and core strength. Following the traditional Pilates repertoire, this session uses repetition and mindful movement to strengthen the body, improve posture, and build a deeper connection between movement, balance and overall wellbeing.

Vinyasa Yoga

A revitalising Vinyasa Yoga class designed to improve flexibility, strength, balance and mental focus through breath-led movement. Flowing sequences combine dynamic postures with moments of stillness to help calm the mind, restore energy and support overall wellbeing in a grounding and uplifting practice.

 

Sunrise Yoga

A grounding morning yoga class inspired by traditional Hatha Yoga, designed to awaken the body and mind through conscious breathwork, mindful movement and focused alignment. Combining gentle flow with strengthening postures, Sunrise Yoga helps build energy, flexibility and mental clarity for the day ahead.

Restore Sound Yoga

A deeply restorative yoga class combining gentle movement, breathwork, sound therapy and aromatherapy to calm the nervous system and release tension. Designed to encourage relaxation, flexibility and emotional balance, this immersive session helps guests slow down, reconnect and restore both body and mind.

Soundbath

A deeply relaxing sound bath experience designed to support stress relief, nervous system recovery and deep rest. Combining therapeutic sound frequencies with guided Yoga Nidra meditation, this immersive wellness session helps release tension, quiet the mind and promote overall emotional and physical restoration.

Yin Yoga

A calming and meditative Yin Yoga class focused on long-held postures that gently support flexibility, mobility and joint health. Designed to target the connective tissues and encourage deep relaxation, this slower-paced practice helps release tension, improve balance and create a sense of calm and restoration

Hatha & Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Weronika

A yoga and mindfulness teacher, guided by a deep connection to movement and embodied awareness. Blending yoga, breathwork and mindfulness, classes are playful and reflective.

Her classes invite you to explore movement and stillness, from dynamic flows to gentle resets.

Classical Pilates

Ashlea

Ashlea is a renowned classical Pilates instructor with over 8 years of teaching experience. Ashlea is trusted by clients worldwide to deliver results, refine technique, and elevate the method to the next level. Founder of Élan Wellbeing and Pilates with Ashlea, Ashlea’s transformative mindful movement empowers people to feel their best in both mind and body.

Classical Pilates

Lily

Through deep dedication to movement, Lily developed a strong passion for Pilates. After qualifying as a Classical Pilates instructor, Lily refined her approach to help clients connect with their bodies on a deeper level. Her sessions are designed to leave you feeling lengthened, strengthened, and more flexible, while also cultivating a sense of mental clarity.

Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra

Joseph

Weaving recalibration through an integrative approach to restorative therapies merging sound, his integrative approach to breath and movement practices create unforgettable multisensory healing experiences.

His classes will allow you to stay rooted and connected in the fast-paced world around us.

Oscar

Places a strong emphasis on inclusivity and accessibility while offering thoughtful options so guests can move in a way that feels supportive and appropriate for their individual needs. His intention is for you to leave the practice feeling more grounded, energised, and at ease than when you arrived.

Sound Bath, Hatha & Vinyasa Yoga

Eva

A 600-hour yoga instructor, Eva’s teaching blends science with soul – slow, intentional movement to help people feel grounded, calm, and connected to themselves. 

At the heart of her work is a gentle reminder: to come home to yourself.

Classical Pilates

Shanelle

Shanelle, also known as Shan, developed a deep appreciation for the Classical method, experiencing relief from chronic stiffness alongside improved flexibility and overall quality of movement. Her classes are guided by breath and intentional movement, offering a safe and supportive space to reconnect with the body and move through the day with greater ease.

Mindful Vinyasa & Yin Yoga

Sammy

With over 11 years of teaching experience, Sammy’s classes centre around creating a supportive space to summon breath, alignment and inner awareness. Classes are guided with kindness and compassion, encouraging students to practice in a way that feels nourishing, steady and deeply accepting.

Classical Pilates

Hannah

Hannah is classically trained in Pilates, first discovering the method through ballet. Hannah’s approach emphasises precision, control, and the joy of movement, allowing you to get the most out of your practise. With her background in ballet and sports, Hannah brings a unique blend of grace and strength to her teaching

Comfort & Essentials

Guests that have booked a class have access to luxury changing rooms fully equipped to support your comfort and convenience. This includes bathrobes, slippers, towels and a full range of toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, moisturiser, face cream, deodorant and make-up remover.

For hair care and styling, we have GHD hairdryers, straighteners and curling tongs, along with shower caps, hair ties, dry shampoo, saline water and bags for wet clothing.

Spa 7am – 9pm

Experience a private wellness sanctuary in the heart of Fitzrovia, designed to restore balance, recovery, and calm. The spa at The Newman includes a hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam room, halotherapy salt room, ice lounge and experience shower.

Treatments 10am – 6pm

We have four treatment rooms offering personalised therapies and facials.

Treatments range from Signature Muscle Recovery Massage and Age-Defying Facials to deeply restorative CBD Mind Unwind Rituals and Ultra Swedish Massage experiences.
