Keeping it close: Little Talland and The Stage
Little Talland, our smaller private dining room, seats up to 12 and suits occasions where the room itself should not do the talking. Meetings that become much more enjoyable over good food. Close-knit celebratory dinners. A leaving party for someone who prefers a select few friends to a bigger crowd. The space is elegant without being too formal, thanks to warm woods, soft lighting, and menus drawn from Brasserie Angelica’s kitchen, where live-fire cooking and the freshest ingredients take the lead.
Down in the basement, reached via a spiral staircase, you’ll find The Stage, our semi-secluded space within Gambit Bar itself. Here, the setup brings something altogether different in spirit. With capacity for up to 15, your group will be right inside the energy of the bar, but tucked away too. Ideal for a drinks reception that sets the tone before a seated dinner, or a celebration where the guest of honour deserves to be the centre of attention.
Seated, generous, entirely Fitzrovian: Talland
Talland, our largest private dining room, holds up to 32 for a seated dinner. It is the kind of room that makes the occasion feel easy, whether it’s a board dinner, a wedding rehearsal supper, or a family gathering that has outgrown a restaurant table, but doesn’t need a ballroom. As in Little Talland, Brasserie Angelica’s seasonal dishes are prepared with the same kitchen philosophy that makes the restaurant itself worth visiting on any ordinary Tuesday.
Through the connecting door, Gambit Bar rather neatly solves the problem of where to meet for pre-dinner drinks. Little Talland and Talland can also be drawn together for bigger parties, or kept distinct to give your group somewhere new to go from canapés through dinner to dessert.
A rooftop evening with London skyline views: The Penthouse
The Penthouse, our rooftop suite, crowns the building, with a terrace spanning 130 square metres, an outdoor dining table for eight, a fire pit, and — here’s the part you might not expect — a sauna and cold plunge. Inside, the living area holds a separate dining table for four. And altogether, the space can accommodate up to 30.
Imagine a summer evening here, dinner that moves between inside and out, finishing the night in the sauna: the whole experience runs at a completely different rhythm compared to our private dining rooms.

When the party needs a proper home: Gambit Bar
For gatherings of up to 80, Gambit Bar is available for full private hire. Descending the staircase, you feel the atmosphere shift from the buzz of Fitzrovia’s streets above to dimmed lights, low conversations, and cocktails and craft beers that sip as good as they sound on paper.
Whether you’re arranging an after-work celebration, showcasing a new product launch or publication, or hosting a birthday that feels cooler than your average, Gambit Bar has you covered. At 150 guests, this format works for company-wide celebrations, large social parties, weddings or entertaining where your guests need room to move. Drinks in Gambit, dinner in Talland, quieter conversations finding their way to Little Talland. The spaces work together to shift the mood, and ensure everyone can find a spot that brings out their best.
A Holistic, Feel-Good Event: The Wellness Space
The Newman’s wellness floor — a full level given over to our spa, which is inspired by Nordic rituals — makes for a wholly unique private experience.
Think, a morning yoga session or sound bath for up to 12 in the Studio, followed by a champagne breakfast in Little Talland, before a spa afternoon in the thermal suite: taking you from Finnish sauna to ice lounge, halotherapy room and hydrotherapy pool. Then, head up to the Penthouse to get ready for dinner; with the option for one more sauna session as the sun sets over Fitzrovia’s rooftops.
